From May 2014-June 2023, I worked for a rehabilitation company, mostly for individuals with acquired brain injuries. The most common comorbidities were mood disorders, autism spectrum disorder, personality disorders, ADHD, addiction, diabetes, high blood pressure, & seizure disorder. I started out as a Direct Care staff member and was promoted to Rehab Manager in 2017. I worked alongside our team of SLP, OT, PT, LCSW, RT, RN, & MD to develop and monitor individualized treatment plans. Additionally, I taught social skills, etiquette, relationship, & behavior management classes. I'm well-versed in the importance of coping strategies and lead with empathy and understanding.
