About Lauren

Hi! My name is Lauren, and I'm an incoming freshman at the Schreyer Honors College at Penn State University. I have been tutoring since 9th grade and enjoy working with students of all ages and backgrounds! Last year, I scored a 1550 on the SAT and a 1520 on the PSAT. I have maintained an A+ average in all my classes, the majority of which were AP and honors-level. I was recently recognized as a National Merit Finalist, and some other awards that I have received include the AP Scholar with Distinction award, the Silver President's Volunteer Service Award, and a $500 scholarship for outstanding performance in volunteer work. I am a very outgoing individual, and my personality allows even the shyest students to build confidence in their abilities and thrive academically. In the future, I hope to attend medical school to become a pediatric cardiologist and use tutoring to help fund my education!
