I started petsitting & working with animals about 12 yrs ago after losing my own dog to illness. Realizing how beneficial it's been to work with animals mentally is what makes me continue. I have experience with dogs of all ages, sizes & temperaments. I also have experience with cats & some exotic animals - lizards, birds & small mammals - hamsters, guinea pigs, etc. I have some veterinary experience. Have given baths, nail trims & ear cleanings to dogs. Also, have experience administering medications - eye, ear, oral, subcutaneous. I am certified in pet first aid & CPR. Currently working on my Fear Free Certification as well as being in school to earn a degree as a veterinary technician.
