About Lauren

Hi! My name is Lauren, and I am 24 years old. I have been babysitting since around age 13, starting with my younger sister and children in the neighborhood. I have always loved to work with kids and was a camp counselor for two summers back in college. In the past, I have babysat for multiple families. I nannied two 3-year-olds over the summer in 2020 and continue to babysit for one of the families who had a 3, 5, and 6-month-old throughout the winter months. After college, I worked in a hospital on the adolescent psychiatry unit for 1. 5 years, working with kids between ages 14-17. I am currently a graduate student at the University of Denver and want to work with children post-grad. I am interning for a therapist who sees young children and I see a few clients independently, the youngest being 8 years old.
