I am a 28-year-old, certified RBT (behavior therapist) for children on the Autism spectrum. I worked as an RBT for a year and then as a babysitter for kids on the spectrum as well! The clinic I worked for was early intervention, so the kids I worked with were between 1. 5 and 6 years old. I occasionally worked in the school with the older kids, but that is not where my primary expertise is. I know some ASL and have experience with talking devices as well. My job as a behavior therapist working with ABA therapy taught me so much about how children on the spectrum interact, play, engage, express, and love! I have loved using what I learned and applying it to my nannying jobs, helping families with children on the spectrum to the best of my abilities! I cannot wait to hear from you!
