Since I was in elementary school, I wanted to be a teacher. I made that dream a reality and dual majored in Elementary and Special Education. I went on and got my Masters in Special Education. I am currently a 1st grade teacher in PGCPS. I will be starting my 10th year in the county. I am certified in elementary grades 1-6 and in special education newborn through age 21. Being a 1st grade teacher, in addition to providing educational guidance to 1st grade age children, I can prepare kindergarten age children for what they need to know for 1st grade and support 2nd grade age children if they are struggling in a specific or multiple subjects.
