About Lauren

I work full time in education technology, but miss caring for kids regularly! I have been working with children since high school, where I worked as a teacher's aid at a preschool in New Jersey. I worked as a summer camp counselor at a sleep away for three years, where I was also a life guard and aquatics instructor. I have worked as a Paraprofessional for the NYC Department of Education, primarily in the preschool and 3rd grade autistic and multiply handicap classrooms. I have also been babysitting or nannying on and off for over a decade. I am very pet-friendly! I am comfortable with babies, toddlers, and young children as well as older children and teenagers, considering I have worked with all age groups. I feel comfortable caring for special needs children and watching multiple kids of different age groups at once.
