About Lauren

For the past 7 years I have been working with families in the North Shore as a Nanny/House Manager/Family Assistant and Professional Tutor. My experience includes 20 years as a classroom teacher where I taught math, art, English, language arts and a drama/music class to 7th grade students. Over the course of my life I have obtained a black belt in Taekwondo, became a certified personal trainer, certified aerobics instructor and am now learning tennis. As an enrichment specialist, I enjoy bringing things to engage children in creative inside play such as crafts, games, puzzles, baking, drama and music. As a physically fit person, I enjoy being an active participant in outside play with the children so will play tag, basketball, volleyball, street hockey and swim. Some of the things I do is help the children with their homework, prepare delicious and healthy meals, maintain the family calendar, and plan a variety of family events.
