About Lauren

My name is Lauren and I'm 33 years old. I was born with a physical disability called Cerebral Palsy Spastic Quadriplegia and I also have a speech impediment. Although, I have a physical disability I reached many goals. I achieved my bachelors and MBA. In my current role as a Paraprofessional for department of education. I provide kids with autism positive and nurturing guidance while in the classroom. As a person who was a student with a disability who needed some support while being in school, I bring my knowledgeable experience to my work place and educate and advise the teachers and parents on some of the things I experience while being a student with a disability. Also I share some of the services I had growing up as a kid if I feel it may be beneficial to the student who is having difficulties academically. With all these experiences I have professional and personal, I can confidently say I will be a great asset to tutoring and just being great motivation to the child.
