About Lauren

My name is Lauren, and I am currently wrapping up my Masters degree in Literary and Cultural Studies at Carnegie Mellon University. Before attending CMU, I earned my BA in English Literature at Allegheny College. While at Allegheny, I worked as a student summer researcher for three professors, co-authored a publication that will be featured in "Environmental Humanities" this fall, and served as the president of our school's chapter of the Sigma Tau Delta English Honor Society. Additionally, I received an award for being the "most outstanding Junior English Major" in 2019, and my senior thesis project earned me a departmental award for the "most outstanding Senior English project". I have presented my various works and research experiences at both the North American Victorian Studies Association annual conference, as well as at the Association for Asian American Studies conference.
