Hello! My name is Lauren. I am a recent graduate of Theatre with an honorary degree (no minors!) in Education. I was an Elementary School Volunteer Assistant in Grinnell, Iowa for four years while completing my undergrad, a Teacher-Scholar for a weekend college readiness workshop for all ages called Ignite, an Elementary Afterschool/Childcare Teacher for Armada, as well as a Substitute (Pre-K - 12). I am currently a Children's Librarian and a Community Enrichment Program Theatre Teacher. I intend on pursuing my Master's in Elementary Education (as soon as COVID decides to take a chill pill). I I love working with all ages and abilities. My philosophy is that learning shouldn't be a chore! I will do everything I can to take the work to be done and make it fun, creative, interesting, and unique for each child. The ultimate goal is that they feel that they are truly grasping the lesson and feel accomplished!
