About Lauren

I am an artist who is compassionate and highly creative. In my life I've been an art teacher, babysitter, camp counselor, church volunteer, and the oldest grandchild and sibling, which had me babysitting at a young age. I love working with children because it brings me joy. Children are pure and full of light, and I have always found fulfillment in this kind of work. I am a person of many hobbies and interests and I am energetic and excited about the world. This means that I am not a "throw the TV on" kind of babysitter. I will teach and engage your children with enriching activities, because that is just how I am! Art lessons, activities in nature, and creative games are my sort of thing. One of my greatest skills that I have cultivated through the years is finding the balance between being the "fun" babysitter while still being an effective disciplinarian.
