About Lauren

My name is Lauren, and I'm a 28-year-old with a passion for nurturing young minds. With a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from UC Santa Barbara and a background in sales, land use planning, and education, I bring a unique blend of knowledge and creativity. I've previously babysat infants, teenagers, and every age in between. My experience includes in-school and after-school programs focusing on science and gardening, as well as substitute teaching for grades TK through 6th. Whether it's engaging children in educational activities or ensuring their safety and well-being, I prioritize creating a supportive and enriching environment. Outside of childcare, I thrive on staying active with running, yoga, and gym sessions, ensuring I can keep up with the energy of little ones. I also enjoy cooking, traveling, going to the beach , and catching the latest movies.
