Hello! I'm Lauren! I am originally from Pennsylvania, a Navy spouse, and I earned my degree in psychology from Arizona State University at the end of 2020. Through high school and college, I worked in child care, customer service, residential and commercial cleaning, animal care, and care for adults with disabilities. I began working with this site in 2014 and have met some wonderful families. I have the most experience, personal and professional, with children under 1-year-old. I even worked as a Goddard teacher's assistant in the 1-year-old classroom in 2021. For me, no work is more rewarding than working with children. This is a new profile with my married name. Lauren has worked as our full-time nanny for a year, and we couldn't be more pleased! She started working as W.'s caretaker after my maternity leave ended, and I was too scared to put our baby in daycare that early. She has W on a schedule, introduces solids, takes him to appointments, administers heart meds, walks him, bathes him, etc. Lauren is communicative, patient, kind, and overall a great nanny. I was concerned it would be weird with her around since my husband and I both work from home, but it has been a hoot! We cannot imagine her not being in our life, and we have plans to continue to use her for monthly date nights once W. starts daycare.
