About Lauren

I've been a Registered Nurse for the last 8 years, and was a Certified Nursing Assistant for two years prior to starting my BSN program. Since then I've gone back to school and received my masters degree in Nursing and studied to be a Nurse Practitioner. I am looking to provide care in between jobs at the moment and have always lived in home care. My background in nursing is hospice, in-home care post hospital, dementia care, and post surgical care. Energetic, knowledgeable, diligent I've been caring for the senior population for over 10 years. My grandparents raised me and I've always felt great comfort in helping those that are at a disadvantage due to health, physical disability, etc. I enjoy getting to know my patients in their environment, I think, understanding holistically, what is going on with your patient can help one provide the best care to improve health and mental well being. I started caring for seniors 10 years ago before starting nursing school.
