About Lauren

I have owned and cared for horses, cats, dogs, birds and rabbits almost all of my life. I was a C-1 pony clubber and feel I have a solid foundation in horse care. I have also worked at 2 veterinary hospitals in the recent past as a kennel tech and a receptionist. I genuinely love animals and feel I have a natural "knack" for caring for them. I've done "special care" for animals such as giving breathing treatments to an asthmatic cat, wrapping swollen legs/dressing wounds on horses, administrating wormers/shots and eye drops to horses. I was responsible for sitting with cats/dogs as they came out of anesthesia from surgeries to make sure nothing went wrong. If you'd like to know any more specifics, feel free to ask me.

Lauren has been a lover of all kinds of animals as long as I've known her (over 15 years). She has a child of her own and knows how important pets are to children, especially! Lauren has pet-sat both for our cats when we had them (3 indoor, 6 outdoor) and our small, aging Yorkie. She's always been attentive and conscientious about details like customary feeding schedules, prescriptions, and "special needs" (types of play or other attention). And she stays in touch during the time she's with the pet(s) in question. Highly recommended!
