Hello I'm Lauren, I go by Lily. I'm looking for full time, long term work near Boston as I'll be moving to the area by October. Here is a summary of my experience, thank you for your time. I have over a year of experience working in a group home for adults with intellectual and physical disabilities as a direct support professional through Perspectives. I left on good terms as I'm moving shortly. My duties included passing daily meds, assisting wake up/bed transfer, wheelchair or walking, showers, toileting and hygiene, meal prep, activity planning and transportation, behavior and daily medical need tracking online, and more. My experience with detail includes clients that are blind, have dementia, are wheelchair bound, have PTSD, Autism, Intermittent Explosive Disorder, Self Injurious Behavior or harm others, Fragile X Syndrome, Mental Illness, and Diabetes. I am comfortable taking on clients with disabilities I haven't yet worked with, I'm a quick learner and love to help!
