About Lauren

Hello! I'm Lauren. I have been tutoring since 7th grade, working with students from 1st grade to seniors in college. As an undergraduate student, I was a Teacher Assistant for Physical Geology and Intro to Environmental Science. I also worked as a Writing Coach. In May 2024, I graduated with the highest honors, obtaining a bachelor's in environmental science with a minor in writing. I am excited to start graduate school in the Spring where I will serve as a Teacher Assistant for various science classes. I like tutoring because it is so rewarding and exciting to help someone understand a concept or topic. I love witnessing the "eureka" moment. In my spare time, I love taking care of animals, reading, and getting outside! My skills include drawing visual aids like models and diagrams, along with being patient and explaining ideas from different angles.
