About Lauren

Hi! As a certified Engineering Teacher at Westwood Middle School, I've spent 4+ years working with children and am excited to bring my passion for education and care into a childcare provider role. I would also LOVE to do some at home STEM activities with any children in my care. My patient and calm demeanor, coupled with my creativity, allows me to connect with children easily. I firmly believe in open and consistent communication with parents, ensuring their peace of mind while their child is in my care. I'm comfortable enforcing household rules and enjoy playing a variety of games with children, from outdoor sports to board games and educational activities that promote learning. My background includes early childhood development coursework, First Aid Training, and CPR Training, adding to my ability to provide a safe and nurturing environment. I'm available to help with cooking and meal preparation, carpooling, and travel.
