About Lauren

Hello! My name is Lauren, and I am a dedicated childcare provider with over 5 years of babysitting experience, complemented by volunteer work at a local community center's after-school program. I have had the pleasure of working with children aged 4 to 10, organizing engaging educational activities, arts and crafts, and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment. In addition to babysitting, I have paid experience as a summer camp counselor, where I developed skills in coordinating group games, supporting children with varying needs, and resolving conflicts with patience and empathy. In my spare time, I like to play soccer since I was on the IU women's team. I like to read, hike, bike, and spend time with family and friends. One thing you should know about me is I love to be on the go! If the kids are up for a day trip and parents are comfortable, I'm ready! My skills include being kind even when having to be stern or enforce rules/limits, being watchful, and being flexible.
