After I graduated from Sonoma State University, I ended up teaching summer school in San Jose where I taught English and Science to fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh graders. From there, I decided to pursue my career in medicine when I became a trained and certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) completing two years of clinical work. As I prepare for graduate school, I hope to find rewarding employment caring for children.
