About Lauren

I am a PhD student in education. My undergraduate degree is from Florida State University, where I majored in Biology and Secondary Science education, and I have master degree from UNC. I have experience teaching all grades, and I have a teaching certification from the state of Georgia to teach any science 6-12. Educating others is my passion. It is the most rewarding experience to see a students' face lights up because they now understand the material, especially if they have been struggling with the topic. I have a proven track record of helping student succeed in any subject they are struggling with. As a tutoring student, I ask two things of you. First, is that you tell me in advance what subjects and topics you need help with. This way, I can prepare materials and find resources before we meet. Second is that if you are going to cancel our meeting you do it at least 1 hour before our session begins. I look forward to our first session.
