About Lauren

Hello! My name is Lauren, and while I am new to this site, I have ample experience working with children. I'm a Boston resident and elementary educator who has been in the classroom for 11 years, and I welcome the opportunity to work with you and your child, either as a childcare provider or tutor. I have taught at the 1st and 3rd grade levels in public and charter schools in and around Boston. I work with a diverse student body and provide social-emotional and academic support or enrichment based on each individual's strengths and needs. This includes providing specialized instruction for English language learners and students with IEP goals. My priorities are your child's safety, developing a relationship with your child, and helping your child grow. I do not use a "one size fits all" approach, as every child is unique, and I will tailor my care or my instruction to best meet the needs of your child, based on your and his/her/their input.
