About Laurel

I believe positivity and presence make a very happy home. I have raised 3 children of my own, so along with my 7+years of experience in paid childcare, these years have taught me how to create such an environment. I am always looking for new and creative ways to make a positive impact on little lives. As a caregiver, I am patient, calm, and imaginative. I am also friendly and approachable, which helps me build strong relationships with the children in my care. I believe that communication is key in any relationship. I understand that every family has their own unique set of expectations, and I respect that. Going with the flow and adapting to change in many situations is necessary to. Especially with children. I have worked with special needs children, in a K-3 one on one playroom environment. and also teaching 2, 3, & 4 yr olds. I am also comfortable helping with cooking, meal preparation, carpooling, errands, and light housekeeping.
