About Laurel

I'd describe my personality as kind, caring, and responsible. I like working with kids because they are so fun and joyful! I want to be a teacher one day and love watching children learn and grow. I started working with kids when I was about 16 sporadically babysitting for 4 families. I worked from October 2021 until May 2022 at Bridges after school program. I supervised indoor and outdoor recreation, helped with homework, played with the children, and helped with set up and clean up. Other experiences include volunteering at the daycare I attended growing up for about a year, volunteering at a daycare in Romania for two weeks in 2019, and helping with Sunday School a few times. I love working with children! In my spare time, I like to spend time with my friends and family, travel, go to the ocean, play sports and be active, attend Sacramento Republic FC games, play board games, and ride roller coasters.
