About Laurel

I have been teaching children for the last 20 years as an Elementary and Preschool teacher. I enjoy doing crafts, art activities, taking children to the park and on walks. I would love to read to them and do enriching activities with children such as baking cookies, science experiments, etc. I can help them with homework and do light household tasks. I would be happy to take them swimming or to other lessons or activities. I enjoy friendly pets. I recognize that consistency is important and I provide that for children through a consistent schedule while infusing each day with fun activities, developmental lessons, and compassionate communication. I desire for children to develop confidence, flexibility, emotional regulation, good manners, and healthy boundaries. I would be happy to email a resume if you are interested.
