Laureen worked for my husband and me for two years as a nanny several years back for my then 11 and 13 year old middle school children. She picked them up each day after school, gave them snacks, provided a mother's touch with conversation and companionship. She would help them with their homework when needed and make sure they had delicious snacks (especially if they didn't have a great lunch at school). Often times she would drive them to after school activities, friends and when needed, doctors appointments. Laureen provided a stability and loving presence, which helped tremendously as my husband, and I worked long hours. Helene Y.
