About Laura

I began nannying at 17 and quickly discovered a passion for working with children that has guided my career ever since. While completing my college degree and earning a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, I continued working as a nanny, gaining valuable experience with children of all ages, from newborns to teenagers. My professional background spans both home and school settings. I've worked as an elementary school teacher, instructional coach, curriculum and instruction coordinator, and most recently, a vice principal. These roles have deepened my expertise in child development, academic support, and family communication. Now, I'm taking a step back from the traditional school environment and looking to support a local family in a more personalized setting. I'm open to roles as a nanny, private educator, house manager, or family assistant-positions that allow me to bring my experience, adaptability, and heart for children into the home.
