About Laura

I'd describe my personality as creative, empathetic, and caring. I like working with kids because they bring so much energy, creativity, and silliness to everyday activities. I'm looking for a job that is part-time, flexible, engaging, and versatile. I started working with kids when I worked annually at a day summer camp at a local community gym. Then I became a credential elementary/middle school teacher for seven years. In my spare time, I like to read novels, cook and bake new recipes, and improve my running. One thing you should know about me is that I have great listening skills, a knack for learning quickly, and good attention to detail. My skills include tutoring/teaching, leading arts and crafts, and playing games.
