About Laura

I am a very caring empathetic person, and I love to work with seniors and give them the best care possible. I feel it's important to just be someone they can trust and feel comfortable with. I'd describe my personality happy, empathetic, and caring. I like caring for seniors because I know it's hard for them to accept being cared for and losing a lot of independence is hard on them! so I try to make it important for them to still be independent if possible and modify things to where they can do somethings themselves with my help. I'm looking for a job that helps me have a purpose to help someone in need. I started caring for seniors back in 1999 when my grandmother became ill. In my spare time, I am a singer, photographer, yoga practitioner and Mam'Maw to my two amazing Grandsons. One thing you should know about me is I am dependable and very caring My skills include activities, being a friend for them, and making sure they are taken care of in any way I can.
