I am passionate about what I do because I love people. I think everyone has their own strengths and weaknesses and by having the pleasure of working with so many different families I get to see a variety of people who have grown with their disabilities, are growing, or have learned to live with it with some assistance from people. I love to be able to spend time, enjoy, and get to know the individual I am working with but to also have them take part to gain some independent skills of their own. As much as they can help with cooking, cleaning, or doing laundry, I encourage any team work they would like to get done so eventually maybe they could do some skills with little or no support.
