About Laura

I graduated from college in 2009, where I studied Elementary Education while being a student athlete on the field hockey team. I am currently a second grade teacher in Harford County where I have taught for five years. Before becoming a teacher, I worked at a school, teaching children from the ages of 6 months to 6 years old. There, I created lessons which incorporated crafts, science experiments, and hands-on learning activities. In past summers, I have enjoyed coaching field hockey camps for grades 5 to high school. In my spare time, I continue to play field hockey whenever I can. I also enjoy cooking, anything outdoors (biking, running, hiking, fishing, boating), and making crafts.
