About Laura

I've always been passionate about working with children. My experience as a babysitter and a former foster parent have prepared me to encourage children's growth and development. I'm patient, calm, creative, and friendly. I believe in open communication with parents, and I'm comfortable enforcing household rules. I enjoy encouraging kids imagination. I love playing board games, puzzles, and educational games with children, and I also enjoy taking them to parks and exploring the outdoors. I'm an artist and love to create opportunities for crafts. I volunteered to teach art in many elementary school classes when my son was in elementary school. I also have helped children succeed in school by tutoring children with homework. I'm confident in my ability to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children.
