About Laura

I've been a childcare provider for over two decades. I want to make a positive impact on the lives of children while supporting families and providing a reliable childcare option. I'm patient and calm, creative and imaginative, and friendly and approachable. I communicate with parents about their child's day or any issues that arise through verbal communication at pickup, regular updates via text or phone call, or by following their preferred communication method. I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules. I'm happy to play outdoor sports and physical games, educational games that promote learning, and technology-based games and apps with children. I'm comfortable caring for up to six kids, aged 0-11. I have a college degree and am a certified teacher. I am also trained in First Aid and CPR. I'm willing to help with cooking, meal preparation, carpooling, light housekeeping, travel, and swimming supervision.
