About Laura

I have over 40 yrs experience caring for infants and children. I am a retired RN with over 30 yrs experience, 11 of which I served as an Army Nurse and have worked with many military families. I have extensive experience in all aspects of mother/infant care. I also have experience with Pre-School and Pre-K as a teaching assistant in both traditional and Waldorf. I am willing to do household tasks as needed, while my priority will be caring for your child(ren). I have impeccable references upon request and I am fully COVID boosted, and current with DTap and Flu. My philosophy in caring for children is to make learning fun and interesting as I provide loving kindness and nurturing care and engagement with nature as much as possible. I'm an animal lover too and will take great care if you have pets. I look forward to getting to know each other if you feel I would be a good fit for your family.
