About Laura

I'd describe my personality as upbeat, generous and kind I was a Physical Therapist Assistant for 25 years and my treatment specialty was geriatrics. I'm looking for a job that allows me to work part time, and apply my skills learned as a PTA while doing so in a caregiver role. I enjoy flexibility, choices and variety. In my spare time, I like to run, golf, work in my flowers, travel. I'm also an avid reader. One thing you should know about me is that I take caring for others and especially Seniors as a privilege. I believe open communication and transparency are priorities. My skills include professional experience with exercises that are appropriate for a particular person, transfers, ambulation, fall prevention, bed mobility, and monitoring vital signs.
