Laura was my Dad's first care provider and her kind demeanor made the transition to having "someone" around for many hours of the day go very smoothly. She took care to get Dad's input regarding meals and activities and he enjoyed her company. At that time we were also getting Dad to stop driving and he and Laura would go on shopping trips together for groceries and other things. When Laura was with Dad, our family had peace of mind that he was in good hands.
