I started working with a girl with special needs, it was a live-in position and an amazing experience. I am not certified, she was a friend of the family but I truly fell in love with this kind of work. The family would leave town for business a lot so I would manage the property, and help take care of their daughter and two dogs. I would cook, clean, and even pull weeds and water all the flowers. We would do meal plan & prep and go to the gym, to help teach some independence. We would do brain gym together for learning and growth, and yoga. Some days we go do fun activities like going to the dog park or a nature walk Since then I have moved to liberty landing and do overnights, SCL, Respite, and job couching. I also continue to help with meal prep, exercise and chores. I love doing fun things, going to the park or exploring new places; Also errands, appointments, and taking them to work or any extra activities they are a part of. I have some openings!
