About Laura

Hi! I'm Laura! I just moved back to Fort Worth after living in Houston for a little over a year. I am looking for some flexible side jobs to keep me busy while I rebuild my real estate and notary business up in this area and make occasional trips to Houston still for work. Growing up I had an autistic little brother and from the age of 6 on, had grandparents live with us and helped care for them as they aged and until they moved onto hospice. I taught swimming lessons to special needs children and adults which led to babysitting and becoming a nanny for several families with special needs children. In college I was a house manager for a family with special needs children and had their elderly parents living with them. As I started my own businesses I continued to remain in companion care with autistic adults part time. I run errands, house sit, pet sit, meal prep (not a chef) handle medication, organize, do light cleaning, drive to appointments and many other odd jobs that are needed.
