I have been a babysitter since I was 11 years old, and I became a part-time nanny at the age of 16 to a wonderful family with 3 little kiddos. I worked in my church nursery running the infant or toddler rooms. I've cared for up to 5 children in a babysitting setting and 10 children in a daycare/nursery setting. I've also cared for newborns to 12+ years old. I also volunteered at Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute for 5 years. I taught swimming and also did equine therapy. It was so much fun and very rewarding and I would love to have a similar job again! I have experience working with autism (low and high on the spectrum), down syndrome, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, feeding tubes, and more.
