About Laura

I am a 36-year-old Realtor and Notary who works from home and has an extremely flexible schedule. I have been taking care of people most of my life. Starting with my autistic younger brother, that led to teaching special needs kids and adults swimming lessons. That quickly turned into babysitting/house sitting/pet sitting for a multitude of families. In college, I was a nanny for several families. I eventually started doing companion care through several different state programs. My most recent family I was with for almost 4 years before they needed to move out of state to be closer to family. I got to hang out with a 30 something autistic adult for a few hours a day a few days a week. She would either come to my house and have lunch and hang out or we would go shopping, run errands or her doctors appointments. I would also house and pet sit for them when needed.
