About Laura
I'm an animal lover. I currently have an 8-year-old dog Yorkie/Bichon Frise mix, 3-year-old rabbit, goldfish and 2 parakeets. In the past as a pet owner, I have had experience caring for guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, mice, hermit crabs, and fish. I've only had one pet care job that I got paid for and that was in 2007, taking care of a cat while the owner's family was on vacation. I would go to their house to check on her once a day, spend some time with her, clean the litter box, feed her and give her fresh water. I also checked on their house and brought in the mail. I have also taken care of my aunt's dog and two cats while she was away a few times - playing with them, walking the dog, feeding them, cleaning the litter box, and keeping them company. I've also cared for my cousin's hamster and bird while she was away on vacation.
