I have a passion for taking care of children, elderly clients, and special needs individuals. I am currently learning American Sign Language and have extensive experience in both child and elderly care. I have taken care of approximately 38 clients locally and can provide verified references and recommendations upon request. In the past, I have taken care of a brain-injured patient and performed a variety of duties such as bed bathing, suctioning fluids in the trachea under nurse supervision, shampooing hair, shaving, caring for teeth and mouth, toileting, dressing, and range-of-motion exercises. I have also assisted with peg-administered meds, taken and recorded vital signs, and weighed patients in bed. As a fully bilingual caregiver in English and Spanish, I hold certifications in CPR and FIRST AID. I am also a Certified Caregiver HOME HEALTH AIDE for the States of Florida and New York. Located in Rome, NY, I am available Monday to Thursday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
