About Laura

I am dedicated to providing care for older adults, children, and individuals with special needs. I have previously worked for reputable caregiver agencies in my local area and currently work part-time for the State of New York in the School District. Some of my experience includes caring for a brain-injured patient, where I performed duties such as bed bathing, suctioning fluids from the trachea, shampooing hair, shaving, oral care, toileting, dressing, range of motion exercises, and assisting with peg-administered medications under nurse supervision. I am also a Dental Assistant and 100% proficient with computers. I am willing to perform LIGHT housekeeping duties related to the client to maintain a clean environment. I am an American citizen and a Costa Rican, and I am fully bilingual in English, Spanish, and some ASL.
