About Laura

I'd describe my personality as friendly, humorous, and patient. I like working with kids because it is a chance to have a positive impact on a childs life. You get to build special connections and care for each individual child's unique needs. As well as watching and helping them learn and grow in many different areas of their development. Children can look up to you and it is very special to be able to impact their lives in so many different ways, wether it be educationally or emotionally. I started babysitting at 15. Then recently I started working at a childcare center as a floater infant/toddler assistant teacher. In my spare time, I like to do art, listen to music, and spend time outdoors. One thing you should know about me is I always come in with a positive attitude. I'm very patient and calm even in overwhelming or stressful situations. My skills include strong work ethic and dependable, activity planning, complex problem solving.
