Before nannying, I worked in aquatics and swim instruction for about a decade. When it felt right to change careers, I knew I still wanted to work with kids (they are a joy!!). Two years ago, I gave childcare a try (through an agency) and have stayed with it since - I really do love playing a part in a child's positive experience! I'd describe myself as encouraging, patient, and artistic. I'm looking for a position that would provide secure work with some flexibility (this will always be communicated by me way in advance if schedule conflicts come up, though they are RARE). My skills include Lifeguard/AED/CPR/First Aid certified, fluent Spanish speaker, providing homeschool/tutoring assistance, and previous experience with care concerning special needs children. I love animals (all kinds), I do not smoke/drink, and I have my own car for reliable transportation.
