About Laura

I cared for my father the last eight years of his life for all non-medical/non-physical tasks. I would make an excellent part-time senior companion. I can cook, do light cleaning, run errands, go shopping, drive to medical appointments, and provide social interaction and companionship. I am retired, a part-time author, and attentive dog mom. As an older person myself, I have a deep understanding of the frustrations that can come with aging. I'd describe my personality as thoughtful, friendly, and responsible. When I was taking care of my father I had the pleasure of getting to know many of his friends. Seniors, of which I'm nearly one myself, have stories to tell and wisdom to share. And someday I'll need care like this myself, so I'd like to help while I still can.
