I have over 15 years of experience working with special needs children of elementary thru middle school age. I started as a Teacher's Aid and went on to become a one-on-one Parapro for a 5-year-old girl on the autism spectrum. I worked with her in a school atmosphere for 6 years until she went on to middle school. From there I went to a middle school where I worked in the POHI (physically or otherwise health impaired) program. In that position I helped students with varying disabilities. I believe I can take this experience with me and provide care to others in a home or social environment. Working with special needs children is very rewarding to me and I feel I would provide a nurturing and caring environment for your loved one. Thank you!
