About Laura

For students in kindergarten through college requiring guidance in animal science and ecology (additional tutoring in other subjects is available, pending outlines of learning material), I'm here to help. I have a Bachelors of Science in Biology with a minor in Psychology. My expertise stems from seven (five paid) years in animal care and education, supplemented by ongoing self-directed learning. I have experience with kids of all ages, and classroom experience. I am an avid reader and collect children's books, so I would also be able to help with reading lessons. When I was in school, I loved to help out my fellow classmates when they did not understand the material. I was told by said students that I really help them understand the lesson more. I still have most of my school notes to help utilize in and tutoring sessions.
