About Laura

I appreciate the outlook that kids have on life. Their childlike wonder and awe of the small things in life is contagious and one of the reasons why childcare is so rewarding for me. I hope to find a child care related job to fill up my free time as I wait to apply to nursing school. I have a very flexible schedule and should easily be able to make time for nannying or babysitting jobs! As an older sister and cousin I began taking care of kids at a young age. From working in 2s daycare at a church, to more official babysitting jobs as I got into high school, I have a good amount of experience with different ages and kids! In my spare time, I like to spend time with my friends, family, and dog. I also enjoy creating art and learning. I spend a couple hours weekly volunteering at John Muir in the mother/baby department! My skills include knowledge, patience, adaptability, and empathy. I have 2 associates degrees and was an honors student so I'm able to help with homework!
